Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister,revealed that the electricity crisis during the last few hours has worsened due to the withdrawal of a neighboring country’s field, some imagine it to be Israel, out of action for more than 12 hours, and reached its power level of 24 hours.
Madbouly added that it was decided to save 1.2 billion dollars to buy the quantities we need for fuel oil and gas, so that load shedding is stopped at the end of the year.
And the Prime Minister revealed that in light of the electricity rationalization efforts, it was decided to close the shops at 10 in the evening except for the supermarket, pharmacies and coffee shops at 1 in the morning.
He went on to say: “Continuation of load shedding 3 hours a day until the beginning of July and the cessation of power cuts from the third week.”
He said: I will renew the government’s apology to the people about the issue of electricity cuts, saying, “I am receiving messages from complaints about the electricity cuts and the extent of the suffering of Egyptian citizens and families
